La Nuit de l'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent Review

*The Claims for La Nuit de l'Homme*

The newest addition to the L’Homme Collection of magnetic, sensual scent for men boldly states its amorous intention. Stirred by contrasting forces, a generous heart of cardamom intensifies with a firming note of cedar, then is heightened and brightened by couramin, to burst with freshness and vitality. Wildly sensual, seductive… barely restrained.
*The Perfect Gift:*
  • Price: $52 for 60mL
  • Why? I selected this edgy and daring woody fragrance as a gift.
  • For who? Male, early twenties. Although this would be a fantastic fragrance for those between 22-30 years old.
  • What's it like? I like the aromatic top notes of cardamom and bergamot, which are masculine and uplifting scents.  Cedar and lavender are the middle notes providing the cologne with some spicy and sweet accents. The bottom notes are refreshing Vetiver, and Coumarin.
  • The bottle: A  heavy hexagonal cap with high quality smoked glass.

Aquafina Plus+ Vitamins 10 Cal Water

I posted my original review on the ChickAdvisor site so check it out there, and if you found my review helpful  give me a vote there. ^__^

A big thanks to ChickAdvisor for sending me six bottles of Aquafina Plus+ Vitamins 10 Cal Water to try and share with friends and family members.  I received three flavours: Black & Blue Berry, Strawberry Lemonade, and Fuji Apple Pear. This drink is beneficial to those who have forgotten to take their daily multivitamin and those who want a guilt-free flavoured drink. This drink does not contain a variety of vitamins for a healthy diet so taking a multivitamin is necessary! A bottle (591mL) contains some of our Daily Recommended Intake (DRI) of Vitamin Bs but satisfies most of our necessary intake of Vitamin C and Vitamin E. The mere 10 calories can be easily burnt off.

On the Label:

The first one I tried was Black & Blue berry; the first sip filled my mouth with a wonderful, ice cold, sweet berry taste. However the pleasure was short lived because the drink is sweetened with Stevia quickly left an unpleasant, tingly, and bitter aftertaste. Thank goodness Aquafina used concentrated fruit juices to sweeten the drink as well, I can’t image how awful the drink would be if the product was sweetened with Stevia alone.

To my disappointment, the tanginess and citrus flavours were completely absent in the Strawberry Lemonade drink. It tasted more like a refreshing smooth Starbucks’ Creamy Strawberry frappuccino, but without the full-bodied flavours. The Fuji Apple Pear had the best flavour out of all 3. This flavour was tasty and has an amazing exotic tropical taste. I would not purchase or recommend the Black & Blue berry and Strawberry Lemonade flavours to anyone. I would recommend the Fuji Apple Pear flavour for those who are intrigued in trying a low calorie vitamin water.

Massaging My Ego - An Update

Hello my wonderful readers,
It's been awhile since I last posted...and I'm alive (for the most part).  It's been a bit busy lately...oh wait that's not news, hehe. I've also finally bought a new bed! Yayyyy!  It's only taken me 1.5 years to find "the one".  Next is finding a car, rug, paint...etc.

On top of going to uni., and work (2X) I've been looking for my practicum placement, which is a tad stressful. However, the stress doesn't stop there I have taxes to fill out, and more (Spring and Summer) courses to take.  Somehow I will be able to find time to do all this without losing (what is left of) my sanity.

Anyways, I'll stop blabbing and show you random pictures off of my camera.
