Kicking Television: Day One

I noticed that in the past ten days I have been spending at least eight hours a day in front of the television. I would either watch old re-runs of CSI, or watch scandously clan "teens" on MTV. I find that after finals I seem to have all this new-found freedom, and I don't know how to spend my time properly. As well, I find my addiction to one outlet of the mass media super unhealthy.
I am going to limit my intake of television today to about an hour today. During this hour I am going to be playing the Sims: Bustin' Out. Haha, for the rest of the day, I am going to organize my electronic Fall 2007 class notes/papers/documents without much distractions. My brother has left to go to Japan, so there's peace and quiet around the house. Nevertheless, tomrrow--Day Two: I am going to cut TV out for sure. Perhaps, I would have a lot more free time to read a good book! A book I have started and have been meaning to finish is Sushi For One? by Camy Tang.
Wish me luck. :)
